IBAK Assessment Tournament Jan 2018

The Indian Badminton Association – Kuwait; In line with IBAK vision of INSPIRE, TRAIN, ACHIEVE conducted the assessment tournament for the coaching participants during 19 January 2018. The main motto of the tournament to assess the trainees for their potential and enhance their skills.

There were nearly 100 entries to the tournament in eight categories based on their level of game and gender. All trainees participated in the tourney with great enthusiasm and spirit. The tournament witnessed participation of ladies too which shows their love towards the game of badminton.

After the prize distribution, IBAK Chairman Dr. Manimara Chozhan briefed the participants/parents that only players can reach to the top level if they display their commitment, discipline, practice and hard work towards the game. Further Chairman stated one of the IBAK trainee Master Adhnan Jeff is currently a National Level seeded Player (Seed 17 for India and 5 for Tamil Nadu) in Under 15 doubles. It is a Milestone in IBAK journey towards coaching and IBAK is proud of Adhanan Jeff and wishes him Congratulations and more achievements in the near future.

IBAK coaching team consists of Dr. Manimara Chozhan, Ajayakumar, Ramesh Chandra, Mohammed Sirajudeen Prasad, and Pradeep and Coach Hisham.

IBAK opens new horizons for Young Talents thru IBAK Junior Badminton Championship 2019

IBAK announces the first of its kind tournament in Kuwait to develop a stream of young competent players who can showcase their badminton skills and talent. IBAK is deeply engaged in scouting and promoting badminton talent throughout the country. In recent times, the association has been identifying many sports prodigies (Boys/Girls) and has been providing sustainable support to many young talents in the country.

IBAK Coaching has designed a series of badminton tourneys in Kuwait for school children to help them participate and develop a SPORTS CULTURE. After winning many successes & accolades in recent times, currently, the association is organizing the much-awaited national open tournament for young broods ‘IBAK Junior Badminton Championship 2019”

It’s a sports league where every child gets to learn about their game by playing against the best players in the country. It’s a platform for our future stars to showcase their ultimate skills. More than 200 participants have registered for the tournament displaying huge excitement and response among the young badminton playing community.

IBAK Junior Badminton Championship 2019 was started on 25th April 2019 at 6.30 PM onwards and it was continued on 26th April 2019 at 9.30 AM onwards at IBAK Salwa Saad Al Awzi School. The tourney invites badminton besties of all age groups in a wide span of eight categories. Under 10 Boys Singles and Doubles, Under 10 Girls Singles and Doubles, Under 13 Boys Singles and Doubles, Under 13 Girls Singles and Doubles, Under 16 Boys Singles and Doubles, Under 16 Girls Singles and Doubles, Under 19 Boys Singles and Doubles, Under 19 Girls Singles and Doubles. The tournament Fees is nothing but just 1 KD per category and one player can participate in a maximum of two categories (1 Singles and 1 Doubles) The tournament was witness nail-biting matches where young and talented shuttlers will fight it out for the top positions.
